PHARMACEUTICAL FLU MIST HANDLING SYSTEM
By this year’s Fall flu season, Wyeth’s national flu mist distribution center in Kentucky will be operating an “on demand” delivery system. Supplying medical personnel with the vaccine for this year’s strain will be done by processing same-day shipments in small lots directly to the UPS delivery center located right next door.

Designed and built by Tinsley Design & Fabricating for reliable operation in the refrigerated environment, a series of eight transfer stations will receive the refrigerated cartons from inventory via conveyors and forward them for packaging with dry ice on an order-by-order basis.

ARCHITECTURAL STAIRWAYS, RAILINGS
Our architectural products can be found in some of the world’s finest homes and commercial buildings – complementing the design and unifying the feeling intended by the designer. Specializing in stainless steel, our custom designs, fabrication and installation allow a no compromise approach to the most demanding requirements.

FIRE TRUCK BODY – LARGEST, MOST COMPLEX TO DATE
The once simple fire truck isn’t simple anymore – complete stainless steel construction, designed to be mated to a new cab and chassis, special accommodations for storage of emergency equipment. We fabricate fire truck bodies for various fire fighting equipment companies, and the latest design was for Keystone Fire Apparatus, Pittsburgh, PA. It is a rolling example of our overall capabilities, and one with the exceptional fit and surface prep finish expected on such vehicles.

SPECIALIZED HANDLING SYSTEMS FOR MANUFACTURERS
Recently completed projects required a very broad range of design and fabrication capabilities, although each project had one thing in common – a tough component handling problem and a custom, turnkey solution. Even though each one appears very different, our engineering approach uses tried-and-proven techniques, components and overall design philosophy – all with reliability and consistent operation in mind.

SECOND MATERIAL HANDLING SYSTEM FOR IBM
Tinsley Design & Fabricating has just completed a second substrate handling system for IBM Corporation’s Poughkeepsie, NY microchip production line – the first was delivered last year. This slightly modified version was designed, fabricated and fully assembled in our Moscow, PA facility for customer approval, and will be installed at the New York plant. The 150 ft. long system incorporates proprietarily designed transfer stations, accumulating zones, a storage/retrieval module, pick-and-place stations, and a variety of pneumatic and electronic controls.

NEW MAC TOOLS TOOL BOX
We are now fabricating a new and larger tool box top for MAC Tools, Columbus, OH. Like the first version begun last year and still in production, this larger size incorporates stainless steel for the tops with stringent surface finish requirements. The tool boxes are marketed to automobile race teams and professional mechanics.
